History in Brief
Westbury on Trym Men’s Club was founded in 1897 by Mrs Heyworth as a memorial to her late brothers Messrs. F. W. and C. W. Savage. The Club was formed as a meeting place for the men of the Parish of Westbury on Trym where they could play games such as Billiards, Whist, Cribbage and Darts.
